Legal Question in Family Law in Kentucky

I would like to adopt a friends child. Rights have already been terminated and grandmother has custody. What would be involved is there anyway to avoid paperwork hassles

The statutes in Kentucky are pretty specific about what has to be done and so there is no way to avoid certain aspects of paperwork. Adoptions are scrutinized closely by judges and so it is usually worth spending around $1,500 give or take to make sure it is done correctly.
