Legal Question in Personal Injury in Kentucky

my mom has been summons to court from a wreck that had happened feb 28 2002 there was another man driving her car but she did not have insurance. is there a certain time frame that they have in the state of kentucky for anyone to file a lawsuit thats dealing with that car wreck??

Yes; one year from date of accident, or two years from date of accident/date of last PIP payment. So, yes, statute of limitations should be included as an affirmative defense in the answer. Hopefully she has an attorney.
