Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Kentucky

I am in a contract to buy a home but put in there contingent upon inspection. I'm not satisfied with the inspection and want to back out without renegotiating. They are giving me a hard time about it. I no longer want this house and the mess it entails. Don't I have the right to back out even if the seller says she will fix everything?
