Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Kentucky

Retaliation Due to Sexual Harrassment Claim

I filed a sexual harrasment complaint against my director. Now, I am clearly being retaliated against by him and my supervisor. HR is investigating but my work environment has become extremely hostile. Do I need a lawyer even if I don't want to sue? How do I find the right lawyer?

Re: Retaliation Due to Sexual Harrassment Claim

You do not say who you filed the complaint with; I assume with your employer. You may wnat to give HR an opportunity to take care of this. You could also file a formal Complaint for sexual harrassment and retaliation with the Human Rights Commission which does not require a lawyer. This may encourage HR to take strong action. A lawyer certainly would help but would cost money.
