Legal Question in Criminal Law in Louisiana

i, My name is Andraione and I was trying to see how I can go about obtaining some detailed information on an old criminal case. The case took place in 1998 and I was 9 years old so most of it is kind of blurry to me.Anyway I was molested at the age of 9 by a career sex offender. The most I know is that he got sentenced to 14 years of hard labor in a state prison.I was supposed to testify but my mom changed her mind she said i was to young. Now I am 25 and just for my sake I feel that me gettn a full insight on what went on with the case including victims, pleas, witnesses and evidence. Is there anyway possible I can get to look and examine these things??

The clerk of court for the parish where the trial was held would have the records. Because of the nature of the crimes, some or all of the record might be sealed. If so, a judge from the court would have to approve letting you see it.
