Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

How do I go about filing for divorce without a lawyer? I have an income of about $500 a month. We have already agreed on child support amongst ourselves and also custody. We have come to the decision of this seperation together and want to keep everything peacefull and do not want to pay the outragious attorney fees.

Even if you use a lawyer the fee might not be outrageous. If you don't use one and something is done wrong, that would really be expensive. Many lawyers will draft the proper documents & help you get them filed for much less than the cost of litigation.
