Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

I wasn't present for custody case. therefore i have no cusody of my child. the court date was in jan 08. i am now seeking to get some kind of custody back for my child. is this possible? will i ever be able to get full custody back?

You can always revisit custody issues. If there has been any material change in circumstances since the last hearing, the Court will always be willing to revisit the issue.
