Legal Question in Immigration Law in Louisiana

Hello

I am on F1 Vista. I have business model. With my friend , he is also on F1 Vista, want to start business after graduation. Our business plan is financially stable. We can employ 8 US citizen for full time. We predict stable growth.

Major issue to for us is Visa. Once we start business can be ask H1B or some other type of visa to stay in USA? Will it be helpful to start business with US citizen?

You cannot petition yourself for an H-1B visa. However, depending on what country you are from, you might be eligible for an E-2 visa.

If you have $1 million (each) to invest, you might also be eligible for an EB-5 immigrant visa.

You may have some options to consider, but will need to spend some time reviewing them with an attorney. Depending upon what country you and your potential partner are from, and E visa may be an option.

Other options would need to be reviewed in detail.

I suggest you find an immigration attorney and a business attorney or advisor to work together on creating your business plan.
