Legal Question in Employment Law in Louisiana

I recently resigned from my previous employee. At the time of employment I was full-time.A few months ago, I dropped down to part-time but I was still receiving vacation hours on my check. I picked up my last check and noticed that they didn't pay me my unused vacation days. I asked my supervisor was I going to get them. She answered no because I'm a part-time employee, even though I acquired them both full and part time.

I know it has been some time since you posted this question, but if you are still looking for an answer, I think it is "yes," you should be entitled to payment of your vacation. I would need to talk to you about the specifics, but if the vacation time was earned, it should be paid, and you may be entitled to attorney's fees and penalties as well.
