My landlord sent me a text message and said he no longer wanted to rent the house I was living for the past 19 years and he then said ok I'll rent it but the rent will now be 700 I stead of the 500 it has been since move in and this was all though a text message :-I

Unless you have a lease, your lease is considered to be month-to-month, which means the landlord can kick you out or change the terms with 10 days notice prior to the end of any month. If you do have a lease, the landlord must honor the terms of the lease.
