Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Louisiana

i purchased manufactured home in 2009. i never transfered title. i have signed title from dealer, copy of certifed check to dealer. i live in Louisiana and am now trying to get title in my name. the dealer is no longer in business ans cant find. what can I do?

Take the signed title and your other documents to an auto title transfer company and they should be able to get that squared away for you. Their fees are usually low and their service is well worth it.
