In the state of Louisiana can you disown an only child just curious know you used not be able to I amean my mother's only daughter father deceased her husband also has only one daughter from previous marriage they have money and houses they had temporary custody of my 2 boys for 10 years they are grown now but still but their houses and his daughters can they exclude me out will? my mother bought me a condo before they got married her husband is very controlling. Have tried talking to my mother about things but can't get any answers I haven't been able to go over and see my mother for years

Under present law, a parent does not have to leave anything to a child unless the child is under the age of 24, or disabled.
