Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Louisiana

throw-away kid

My father passed away. He's remarried and has had a child with my step-mother. There is no will and my father had money. Will I have a legal claim for my inheritance? When he remarried, his new wife had three prior children. If I do have a legal claim, what do I do?

Re: throw-away kid

Since he had no will all of his children have an equal claim to his estate. Contact a lawyer and have the succession opened.
