Legal Question

I injured my upper back and shoulder and now I have some nerve problems inbetween disc 6 and 7 and may need surgery. My ? Is even though I'm on lite duties no lifting over 20 lbs and no over head reaching. If I was at work and my back started bothering me r after my P T I was 2 go home should I still be paid for my missed tyme at work
