at the end of April my knee swelled up on day it was the size of a cantalope i went to the er they said to follow up with my dr. nox-rays were taken they thought it was a ligament. so i went to my dr. she ordered a mri and wanted me to see a orthopedic dr. i did he said i had arthritis and gave me a cortizon shot whichhe missed twice and sent me to physical therapy for 8 weeks followed up at 6 wks. said i should be all set.well after 8 wks i wasn't all set my swelling never went down all summer i was hobbling around didn't get much better then insept. sometime i tried getting ahold of this dr. he no longer went to my dr. office and no longer withthe ortho. group he on his own far away.so i had to find another ortho dr. i did he tooka look at my first mri report and asked what the first dr. said i told him arthritis gave me a cortizone shot with 8 wks. therapy. second dr. said'' this should have been taken care of 6 months ago he just pasted you off. it says right at the top of the mri report torn meniscus'' so he ordered another mriand said yup you need surgery. so now i have to have surgery the week before x-mas and my be on crutches 6 weeks longerwith no weight bearing. ive been on crutches for three month anyway what u think

Based upon what you have summarized, it appears that you have a malpractice claim against the doctor who misdiagnosed your knee problem.
