Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Maryland

collection of 10 yr old judgement

I had a judgement placed against me 10 to 11 years ago. It is no longer on my credit, but my question pertains to the SOL. Is the SOL the time frame in which a suit can be brought, or is it the time in which it can be collected on? For the state of Md what is the time that it can no longer be collected?
