Legal Question in Criminal Law in Maryland

I live in MD my boyfriend had called the cops they came and I had a scrap on my arm . Me and my boyfriends argument happened so fast that when i was asked to write a statement I wrote he walked past me by the stairs and I hit my arm on the rail. At the time of the statement I thought that's how I hurt my arm but I remembered it was when I was opening my back sliding door I scraped it on the door frame. I dont know what to do court I tomorrow I don't want him in trouble for me doing a written statement under stress and not remembering how it happened at that moment. I need help.
