Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

Barring Visitation

Good day. My question is a little unusual. I have a very large family unfortunatly most are lowlifes.I would like to know if there are any forms that I could get and sign that would ban any and all of them from having ANY contact with my children without my permission. I know that laws with respect to grandparents rights to visitation any other family members rights to visitation vary by state, which is why I am writing to you today. My question is unusual because I haven't any children yet. I just want to protect myself, and them, in the future.

As a parent you have an absolute right to prevent other relatives (except, of course, the other parent) from seeing your children if you choose to. Grandparents can petition a court for visitiation privileges, but you could contect their petition. Otherwise, you don't need a court order.
