It depends on the relationship between the reason the bench warrant was issued and your license status. For example, if it was issued for failure to appear for a court hearing, you could clear this up by reporting to the court with an explanation as to why you failed to appear. Usually this results in the bench warrant being withdrawn and a new hearing date set. On the other hand, if you are convicted of a serious traffic offense (like DUI), your license could be suspended, although you may be able to retain work-related driving privileges. It would behoof you to consult an experienced traffic attorney to assist you in this.
