Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

I have a custoday hearing coming up shortly and the other party want to have witness but we have never seen the witness before. Why would someone want witness and what type of questions is the judge going to ask the witness?

It is impossible to give a definite answer to your question. The most obvious reason for having someone testify is for character purposes. The judge has the right to ask questions based upon the issues that come up during the testimony of the witness.
