Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

divorced. separation papers state he needs to pay half for college. he doesn't want to. if i get a lawyer, do i have a chance to make him pay? this is his only child.

Yes, a very good chance since he contractually obligated himself to do so. If the separation agreement was incorporated by reference into the divorce judgment, as it should have been, you can proceed under a contempt citation.
