Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

I filed a child support motion in June of 2013 when I lost my job. In September, I asked the courts to dismiss the case, and they did. Before they dismissed my ex filed a contempt charge and a counterclaim to modify absolute divorce judgement and we go to court in 4 weeks. Today I found out my medical ( yes I provide medical for the kids) is going up by $720 a month. Can I file another motion to modify since the first was dismissed?

Yes, based upon the recent change in circumstances. However, before doing so you should do a child support worksheet using the updated figures to see what effect that would have on your support obligation. You can get the form on line from the court website.
