Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

I own my home in just my name and let my male friend move in. I live in Maryland and would like to know of a legal way to get him to move out. He won't take a hint.

I assume he has no lease, so you will have to file a wrongful detainer action in the MD District Court in your county. The civil or landlord/tenant clerk's office at the courthouse should be able to provide you with a form to fill out to begin this process. The form is used for both your situation, and the case where a seller refuses to vacate and the buyer wants possession. Make sure you choose the first option.
