lifetime alimony

Once you retire and are not receiving a income do you still have to pay alimony?

Upon retirement, you should file a petition with the court that awarded the alimony, seeking a modification of the award on the basis that you no longer have the income upon which the award was predicated. An experienced family attorney can assist you with this.
