Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

modification of custody

Can I get full custody if my ex was recently convicted of a felony? He was convicted of grand larceny, and my 5 year old son was present during the crime.

Re: modification of custody

If your ex (that is the other parent) was convicted of a felony offense in presence of the child then you stand a good chance of gaining custody. I would like to hear more about why you did not have physical custody without modification and other challenges with your case. Contact me to discuss.

Will need some more details. What do you mean your son was there (during the felony charge)? Did it involve violence? Who has custody now...and for how long? Can't do you "justice" without some more facts.

I am available to speak with you if you want or just email.
