Legal Question in Family Law in Maryland

I am paying alimony to my X-wife since we finalized our no-contest divorce. Payments are deducted out of my paycheck automatically by court order. She is a citizen of another country and is emigrating back to Europe in a few weeks (she has a green card). Since we have no contact with each other, there is no way for me to know if she remarries, or if her financial situation changes. Our settlement allows for Alimony to decrease. Should I petition the court to stop alimony? On what grounds would the court allow?

Sincerely/LED

Not just because she's moving. But if you could show a lower cost of living there it could be a factor. You need to find a communication source on her going forward.
