protective order

Mt wife and I have been seperated for 1 month and now she is taken me to court with a temp protective order. What can i expect at the hearing

At the protective order hearing, the Judge will hear testimony from both sides and determine whether or not the events alleged in the petition occcurred. If the Judge finds that they occurred by "clear and convincing evidence" the Judge will grant the order. The Judge will also ask you if you would like to consent to stay away, and if you consent, no testimony will be heard.
