Legal Question in Health Care Law in Maryland

My brother died in a D.C.hospitial,what the doctors told me was wrong with him is somewhat different then what the Medical examiner says.As next of kin, can I get a copy of his hospital records?

If in fact you are the "next of kin" (every state defines that a little differently), you are entitled to your brother's medical records. I strongly recommend that you consult an attorney and discuss the specifics of your case -- specifically, you should make sure that you are, in fact, the next of kin as defined by D.C. law.
