Legal Question in Immigration Law in Maryland

What happens next? ???

Can I GET the green card if I entered

on an I-20 but never register for

classes ???

My husband is USC, I have the I-130

which has been approved years ago.

Went to the interview and the official

asked for the transcripts but I didn't

have any. Can you tell me what

should I do now.

Re: What happens next? ???

Well, I hope you went to your interview with a good lawyer who knows the law. Two issues crop up: if your I-130 was approved years ago, why did you wait to do anything else? Second, if you didn't go to classes why would you have transcripts anyway? Did you not tell the officer you did not go to classes. There is a possibility that you will be placed in proceedings, but not for awhile. Or you may be approved by the grace of the USCIS. If you are in Maryland, find a good lawyer, or call my office to schedule a consultation. I will be better able to see what's going on when I see the documents. Good luck to you and take care!
