Re: immigration

It will depend upon whether the immigrant entered the US legally on a visa or has had immigration papers filed on his or her behalf in the past. Please contact my office if you would like to discuss it further.

Re: immigration

First, the spouse must petition for Mr. El Salvador; then he must adjust his status or be admitted as a lawful permanent resident. Then, if all works well and he remains married for 3 years to the U.S. citizen, and maintains good moral character, then he can apply for citizenship. Now, I do not know all the facts here; I suggest you contact my office and get a consultation. All the above procedures will depend on whether he entered the country legally, whether or not he has temporary protected status, and how long he as lived in the U.S. At least get some legal consultation about the situation.

Good luck!
