I am married for 10 years, got green card as my husband's dependent. Now we don't get along. If we split up, would it affect my legal status?

Hi,

Your legal status would not be affected based on your marital situation, assuming that you are a lawful permanent resident (LPR) as opposed to a conditional resident. You may consider applying for citizenship: www.h1b1.com/citizenship.htm
