Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Maryland

My lease was from July 15 2008-July 15 2009, but I moved out May 31st 2009 and had someone else take over my lease/renew it with my previous roommates so I could move into this new house. When I moved out in May, I was told I'd get my security deposit ($334) back within 30-45 days. Come the end of July, I still hadn't received anything, so I went to the office to ask and they said, it was actually going to be 30-45 days from the end of my original lease (July 15, 2009). The first or second week of September, still nothing so I called during business hours, left a voicemail (no answer) and got no response back. Last week I called again during business hours, no one picked up again, left a voicemail again, and got no response. Today I called again (finally someone answered!) and was referred to someone else in another office, left a voicemail with him, and he just now got back to me saying he doesn't even have my address to send my check to. Its been 72 days since my lease officially ended. Should I suck it up and give him an address to send a $334 check? Honestly, it's just been a really frustrating experience trying to squeeze this money out of this company that just tends to screw over their student leasers. I don't think that they are allowed to wait this long to send me my money but I'm not sure if I'm entitled to more money or if that's just being silly and I should just give him my address, get my check, and get the whole deal over with.

Anyways, thanks for your time/advice if you have any.

You're entitled to the return of your security deposit. You're not going to get more than you deposited unless there is a provision in your lease that your deposit earns interest (not likely). In that instance, the interest for one year on $334 is VERY minimal. Give him your address -- he can't send it to you if he doesn't know where to send it.
