Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Maryland

2 month old saw pediatrician on monday, coughing really bad. Took baby back to doc on wednesday because baby worse, decreased urine output/not taking usual formula, cough worse. Dr advised to continue humidifer&saline;drops. When mom questioned doc's order, doc said,"well you can take baby to hosp for second opinion". Well long story short baby was admitted to PICU in respiratory distress& positive RST. Baby is hm better now, but isn't that misdiagnosis?

Maybe. Consult a Maryland medical malpractice plaintiff attorney to discuss the specifics of your case. If you didn't suffer damages, and the child is OK, perhaps consider filing a grievance with the medical board. In other words, if you concern is more for other children than earning money from the doctor, this is usually the way to go.

Best of luck.******The above is for informational purposes only and does not create an attorney-client privilege.********
