One of the key features of joint tenancy property is that it passes to the remaining owners. So if property is truly held as joint tenants with rights of survivorship then no, it should not pass through the deceased owner's estate.

Note that this is the exact opposite of what happens with property held as tenants-in-common (tenant in common property goes through each owner's estate).
