Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Massachusetts

Stolen Property

I purchased a new Washer and Dryer for me and my girlfriend's apartment 6 months ago. We broke up and now she is trying to keep the units and expects me to pay for them(they are currently financed interest free for 6 more months). I alone purchased them on my personal credit card and can prove it. Can I get them back and would it be easy or expensive to do so? They're combined value is $1000. Also I never officially lived at her residence as I am student and live in a college dorm 9 months of the year. What can I do?

Re: Stolen Property

I am sure you have tried to speak with your girlfriend to no avail. You can file a small clamis action in your district court because the claim is under $2000. Good luck.
