can i find out if my student loans will be cancelled out by declaring bankruptcy before officially filing for it

They will not be cancelled unless repayment causes an "undue hardship" preventing a minimal living standard. Harshly interpreted. Low income by itself is never enough. Count on the student loans surviving bankruptcy. I provide student loan services as well as bankruptcy.
