Can I use LLC in the name of my business without it actually being incorporated?

Well, first of all, an LLC is an unincorporated entity - but that's neither here nor there. You should not falsely represent that your business is a limited liability company when it is not. Registering costs a $500.00, and a little fee for the lawyer's time, and can make sense for a host of reasons.
