Can a employer decrease your pay per hour for being tardy

You would want to look at any written agreements, policies or employee handbook to see your specific employer's policies. The second level of questioning is whether they treat all employees equally, i.e. whether your pay was decreased for what might constitiute a policy violation but others did not receive similar reductions for similar infractions. If that is the case you may be loking at some sort of discrimination case.
