Initiating a lawsuit for violation of my constitutional rights
I want to file a lawsuit. My constitutional rights were violated.
I have no clue as to how to file a lawsuit of this type, I only know that what happened to me was criminal. The lawsuit I wish to file is against a police department. Where do I file a lawsuit against a police department for violation of my constitutional rights? In a federal court? Please point me in the right direction, let me know which court to file in. Thank you.
