Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

If a confidential informants tip consists of 2 items, Namely, I saw Dr John sell prescription drugs and he has a meth lab at his house, does the fact that the informant saw him deal drugs give "basis of knowledge" to the meth lab? This is in regard to the two prong test if no detail is given about either.

Probably. It depends on the judge, your lawyer, and all of the other facts to show it was not reliable.

I don't see the "basis of knowledge" connection between these two pieces of information, but I agree that how it is interpreted depends on the judge and all of the information that is presented.
