Legal Question in Criminal Law in Massachusetts

I received a summons to court for 2 offenses for the offense date of 3/2/16. One is Larceny from building( code 266/20/A) and Larceny under $250 from +60/Disabled(266/30/J) I was recently fired from the company I worked for almost 3yrs. The police were called and I was accused of taking pain meds. I was searched and all my belongings and car were searched, with nothing found, but I was still fired. This was not on the same date as the summons date I received. I don't understand this at all and I have not done anything so I am wondering what is going on and what I should do. Can you help??

Hi. You really need a lawyer in court for this. In any event, larceny from a building only occurs when the building is not being supervised. It must be after hours and the place must be vacant.

Joe.
