Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

so I have to go to court my ex never served me but he texted me before Christmas and told me he had the papers and he was going to have me served I waited a week and texted him asking him when he was going to have him served he said the next day so I asked him what the court date was he said there wasn't one on the paper I had to be served and mail it back then they would mail out a court date. After a month I didn't get anything so I called the court and found the court date out I called the court to find out the court date. so my court date is tomorrow and I get in the mail today from me ex just regular mail the court papers telling me I have court tomorrow. now my question is because he tried to be so deceiving and I know this is not right but what would be more damaging telling the courts I was never served at all never relieved anything I called that's how I knew to be there or showing that he didn't have me served he sent it regular mail he did know that date but didn't tell me. I know this is wrong but he tried to screw me so please if someone can help what would hurt his case more??

As a practical matter, if you're prepared to deal with the issue tomorrow, you should. If you need more time to prepare or consult an attorney, tell the judge about the service issue and ask for more time.
