Legal Question in Family Law in Massachusetts

Family law question. A woman has been bullied by her exhusband and his attorney to a point where they have taken away child support for 10 months she is no longer able to live in the house her exhusband and she had owner. Due to the non child support payments and the limited amount of time given for eviction, she is force to move. She has a place to live, given to use as a temporary home by a family member. That home is over 50 miles away. She is doing her best, with her limited capabilities to provide structure and stability and In a nurturing home.

Over all my belief, and through proof In court documents, is the exhusband has full intention to deconstruct her stability, make her look incompetent and take custody of the children. This has been an ongoing process for approximately Four years.

I have also watched this same exhusband, over those past years, claim he can not afford an increase in child support, yet he has received promotIons at work becoming a branch manager of a national bank, purchase luxuries, new vehicles, and vacations to exoctic destinations.

She needs Legal help before she loses the battle. What can she do? I have tried to help to the best of my ability.

Please help us! Sincerely, the Artist In Massachusetts

1 Answer from Attorneys

She needs to hire an attorney and seek a contempt against the ex-husband for not paying child support and seek a request for change in support based on changed circumstances. She can contact Boston Legal Services if she cannot afford an attorney or she can contact the Massachusetts Bar Association for referral to a group that may help her.
