joint guardianship

In MA can I appoint someone to share joint guardianship to my child with me if I have sole legal custody? Is there a particular form that has to be completed?

Any Petition to appoint a guardian of a minor child must be submitted to the Probate and Family Court and served on all those having interest in the child, who have a right to be heard in objection.
