we are not married. I got pregnant and he demanded an abortion. When the pregnancy became highrisk, he started abusing me verbally and emotionally. The baby was born at 25 weeks and is still in the NICU. He insist on holding her. All he talks about is how he is going to punish her. I don 't want him anywhere near the baby. The nuse says.he is the father and have rights.

What can I do?

As the father, he does have rights. But if you want them restricted, you have the option of filing with the probate and family court as soon as possible a complaint for custody, support and visitation, along with a motion for temporary orders that includes a request for custody and child support. At the motion hearing, you can voice your concerns and make a request for a limited visitation schedule. However, it's usually better to do a full consultation before you do anything yourself.
