Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Massachusetts

Do I have a wrongful death suit?

Hello,

My husband was sent to a sober living facility through drug court and passed away. The director of that facility was seen in a bar with him drinking. There are urines missing from his file(I was told by an employee). The night that the director was seen in a bar with him she called the employee on duty and advised her not to test the guys when they came home it was costing the program too much money. This employee informed me that immediately following my husbands death the organization came in and were "covering up things". This director did not return to work following my husbands death. I have been told that she was suspended/fired but am not sure of that. I feel that this employee was neglectful and had she perform her duties as the director of the facility and informed the drug court his death could have been avoided . My husband was starting to struggle and she instead went out drinking with him . I feel that this organization and its employee were neglectful of their duties to my husband and his family. I was never notified of my husbands death from Fall River Police, State Police or the hospital all which were involved with the incident. This was my husbands first time in a sober house and he ends up dead. My child lost her father because the people he was entrusted to failed. I would love to speak with you regarding this matter.
