Legal Question in Immigration Law in Massachusetts

I am a Canadian citizen. I have lived in this country since I was 4 years old. I have been married to an american for 13 years. I have lost my alien card, which I know expired years ago. I have waited too long and would like to get this sorted out and get a new alien card, but am worried that there may be trouble over this (?) Not sure. Ideally, would like to apply for dual Canadian and American- Advise please! Thank you!
