Legal Question in Immigration Law in Massachusetts

Hi, my husband is canadian will be on TN Visa and employed by a US employer in this July. And currently he has his mobile application and he is earning income from google ads advisement. Can he continues maintaining the mobile application (such as codes updating) while he is working in usa? Or can he still earn income from google ads advisement if he stoped maintaining it and just let it continue generating advisement money?
