Legal Question in Insurance Law in Massachusetts

I was injured i was in a building and a car came through and hit me. Mega injuries. I settled with their car ins. company. but my question is I was on private property at a farm. I want to know if I can get compesation from the owner of the farm stand which I was in, I am only seeking the medical bills. of $20,000 that I had to pay out of the settlement with the car insurance of the person who hit me. It was never mentioned about getting compensation from farm owner too. I did not think to pursue my emplyers property ins. it has been just a little over 6 years. I just felt I shuold not have had to pay the medical expenses from the settlement. thank you.

The statute of limitations has most likely passed on your claim. The statute of limitations for negligence is three years. ...in any case, it is unlikely that the farm stand, or the farm owner owes you any money, unless for worker's compensation - if another's actions were responsible.

Sorry to say. Best of luck, however.
