Legal Question in Juvenile Dependency in Massachusetts

My 14 yr old son sold a pill in school the child went to the hospital and now the police are sending him to a hearing with the magistrate, do I get a lawer now or wait for a trial and does he admit the truth now or plead the fifth and wait for a trial?
